Panjshir emeralds for the Dubai and UAE trade
Imperial Emeralds supplies rough Panjshir emerald material to professional buyers. This page is for dealers, wholesalers, manufacturers and jewellery houses working in Dubai and across the United Arab Emirates.
Why origin matters to a Dubai buyer
Dubai is an established regional centre for the gold, gemstone and jewellery trade, and a great deal of material passes through it on its way somewhere else. That is precisely what makes the chain behind a stone hard to see: by the time a parcel of rough reaches a trading desk, it has often changed hands several times and the account of where it came from has thinned with each one.
Imperial Emeralds is a family-operated business built around a direct relationship with Panjshir, Afghanistan. Our work begins close to the source, before the long chain of dealers and resellers that can separate a stone from its origin. For a buyer who is asked by their own clients where a stone came from, that shortened chain is the point.
We are deliberate about what we do not claim. We do not issue gemmological certificates, we do not assign grades, and we do not present the selection names below as independent laboratory classifications. Material is photographed honestly, and records are shared as they exist — nothing more.
What we offer
Material is presented in three curatorial categories, all from Panjshir. They describe character and form, not a grading scale.
A private selection is prepared against your brief rather than offered as a fixed stock list. Tell us the form, quality, volume, and documentation you need, and we will prepare a relevant private selection.
Character
Rough crystal cluster · Panjshir, Afghanistan
Expressive inclusions, varied transparency, and an unmistakably natural presence.
Fine
Selected rough crystal · Panjshir, Afghanistan
A stronger balance of green, transparency, and visual harmony.
Collector
Individual mineral specimen · Panjshir, Afghanistan
Distinctive stones selected individually for colour, crystal character, and singular presence.
How to open a conversation from the UAE
Write to us in English. The more precisely you describe what you buy, the more relevant the first selection will be — a general enquiry produces a general answer.
We have no office, agent or representative in the United Arab Emirates, and we make no delivery or customs undertaking on this page. Commercial and logistical terms are agreed case by case, in writing, before anything moves.
Who this suits in Dubai & UAE
Gemstone dealers and traders
Buying rough for onward sale, and needing to know exactly where a parcel began.
Wholesalers and importers
Working in volume, and judging a source on consistency rather than on a single lot.
Jewellery manufacturers
Cutting in-house or through a partner, and buying rough against a defined finished piece.
Jewellery houses and private dealers
Looking for individual specimens with a documented origin rather than graded, anonymous goods.
Making an enquiry
Write to trade@imperialemeralds.com and tell us:
- the form you buy — rough crystal, cluster, or individual specimen
- the quality band you work in
- the volume or frequency you need
- the documentation your own buyers expect
We will prepare a relevant private selection against that brief. Material is photographed honestly, and records are shared as they exist — nothing more. We issue no gemmological certificate and assign no grade.
